funny you should ask that... i am about to start a ar pistol project... that one is gonna be about a 7 inch barrel i think
but no, that rail is for my noveske n4 upper. it's a brick and a half right now. it's got the super heavy thick noveske barrel and a larue 12" quad rail. this will shave about 1 lb off the front. my wife shoots this gun the most when she does go out to shoot so i want it super light for her.

Hey! That's a good idea. I was thinking AR pistol because I got one as my back up for SULE, I'm picking it up Tuesday. Truth be told, I don't think I need to have a back up for a H&K, but it's a good excuse to get one. They're pretty cool looking and are the closest thing to a SBR here in Cali.

Hayaku, how's that NSR working out for you so far? I have been looking at the complete Noveske 16" Lo-Pro CHF Upper NSR with Battlecomp 1.0 from TierOneArms lately. My current Noveske rifle has the standard 11" Noveske rail w/ a SWFa 1-4X24 on a LaRue scope mount. Not exactly a light configuration. Trying to find ways to lighten it up a bit.
