OK, the question a lot of people have been asking is, "Are we still having a SULE?"
So let me know if you are interested in doing a SULE for Fall/Winter 2013.
I know Nick is in.

Kinda redundant to say it again, but I will anyway I'm in ! Given Stan's new schedule, who knows if SULE will keep on going. The training is priceless and the opportunity rare.

It will keep going but in a few years it may not be legal in California! Or you will have do it with lever actions! I may get promoted and move out of state!

when that happens in two years and we can only use lever action for SULE i will don my tactical loincloth ( thinking crye or krptek nomad ) and doing my best Charleston Heston impression face North toward Sacramento and yell " Damn You ! Damn You all to HELL !!! "
i guarantee it will not be a pretty sight !

We have ten takers so far to include our usual suspects. We should get a few more and some observers as well. Biggest SULE yet!

I'm in for SULE in Dec. 2014. That was the best time I had hiking around mountains with about 30 lbs of gear in my life Hopefully, no LAPD around next time so we can run more missions using long route.

Despite that hiccup it didn't change things too much, you might have got one more patrol using the full loop but other than that we made up for it when we did Mission #3, the rally point and then back out for Mission #4. Glad you liked it, great training!

That being said, I wouldn't mind if you find a way to fit in two or three more missions in our day.

We really went at a natural pace considering the knowledge base of the students. Everyone had to go through the same operations cycle of orders, processing, planning, orders issuance, rehearsals and execution. Those things should not be too accelerated at this stage. If we had a class of the veteran SULE alumni (have gone twice already) then yes, we can certainly speed things up a little but the cycle still remains the same.

I'm sure that the next time I'm in your class, this will go down in the "be careful for what you wish for" part of my experience
