I might check it out if I'm in the area. I like the concept of "skills". If you have skills, you can take them with you anywhere. I also like the concept of BBQ however.
Btw, I have been watching a lot of Ray Mears on Youtube. His survival series is pretty amazing. He mixes survival training with history, anthropology - you name it. He also mixes the modern and the primitive.
BTW, I've watched a few more episodes of "Extreme Survival" and the survivors they interview and tell the stories of are absolutely amazing - downed US pilots who hid out in the jungles of Vietnam, people who were lost in the Sahara, passengers of a ship that was marooned in Alaska in January for a month...
Stan, What do you think ? Do you know of a place out in the desert we could do this ? And definitely before it gets too hot.
I was thinking more along the lines of mixing some bushcraft training with some weapons training. Unless we want a SWAT Team (or two) joining us, Hahamongna Watershed Park wouldn't be the best place. What was your thinking on what we could do ?
