I want you the TASC alumnus to step up to the plate and declare your true nature , realize your full potential as a sheep dog or be bunched up as sheep or what we sometimes refer to as " SHEEPLE " .
A sheep dog is a warrior at heart ready to protect the flock no matter the outcome no matter the consequences. The sheep dog protects their family , friends , acquaintances and oftentimes strangers at considerable risk or exposure to themselves. Sheep dogs require no fluffing , no glorification , no trophies , awards or commendation.
The sheep dog finds satisfaction of being thanked upon by those whom he has protected or at best a nod from his fellow sheepdog as his ultimate acknowledgement for a job well executed.
A sheep dog oftentimes receives the scorn of society and oftentimes the glare of repulsion from the sheep or sheeple, he is the target of their white hot hatred and redicule . It is often the sheeple who never fail to pile on public admonishment or legal restrictions for the sheep dog. Yet time and again it is the sheep dog who will protect the sheep when the wolves come pounding on the sheep's peaceful grazing pastures. No questions asked , nothing exchanged for financial gain , just doing my job ma'am or " I just happen to be at the right time and place " before fading back to obscurity.
To my TASC brethren who consider themselves as Sheep Dogs my salute to you for your noble service and commitment to protect our sacred way of living. To the fallen Sheep Dogs who have laid down their lives to protect and defend the innocent thru time immemorial , my nod to you for a job well done. I pray that someday when my time will come and be called to that altar where you have previously graced ,may I be as worthy as you no matter the outcome.
To the sheep or sheeple who I live amongst , be assured that I am prepared whenst the wolves will come to pounce on your soft fat and fleshy flanks.
To my TASC brothers and sisters , I say keep on the vigilance, train hard as you fight , the more you bleed in training the less you bleed during the fight.
