Problem with the AR pistol in CA is the bullet button + 10 rd. mags.

Problem with the AR pistol in CA is the bullet button + 10 rd. mags. This is something worth researching. Check out calguns. Again, with all things California gun laws it is convoluted but there are work arounds, all silly but I don't think the bullet button is one of them.

The laws re. pistols are a lot stricter than the rifle laws when it comes to AR workarounds.
P.C. 12276.1 prohibits pistols that have: "(D) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip. (5) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds."
So you're basically screwed unless you can figure out a way to stuff an AR mag into the pistol grip!

S-13 nailed it. You can get an AR pistol as an SSE, and then remove the sled. But since the magazine sits outside of the grip, you are still stuck with a BB and 10 rds.

At least with rifles we can go featureless. With the price of .223, I can only afford 10 rounds.

If I had the money, I'd get one too!
If you don't have a beard, you really can't talk about firearms on the internet these days.
