Anyone try one of the $99 polymer lowers?
Btw does anyone other than Rifle Gear sell them? I'm not that eager to drive all the way to OC if I don't have to.

I'm eager to try one out, just have to drag myself to Rifle Gear in Orange County.
They actually make AR pistol lowers too, but you can't buy the lower by itself here.

I had issues with the grip on my featureless rifle this weekend so I borrowed a NFA lower from a friend. I was actually pretty suprised with this lower. Surprised enough to say I'd like to go buy one as a spare to my junk metal lower.
As with wsmc27, I did not particularly like the trigger feel on the NFA. It was a little chunky. But, when you consider an LPK from any of the distributors costs $59 by itself, I guess you can't expect the nice metal trigger group feel.
I'd be interested to see if it was just the springs, or the disconnect, or what exactly it was that was goofy. Swap jobs on the LPK until it feels right.
I ran brand new PMAGS all day with no problems there.
They are $109 now and Parallax for the entire ready to shoot lower.

I ran a PlumCrazy Polymer lower on my 7.62x39 upper for over a year now. The lower body is solid but I had to replace the internal hammer and disconnector after around 800 rounds when the hammer failed to catch after each shot causing a secondary light primer strike. I wasted a day at the range. I ended up replacing the whole internals for peace of mind. Now the PC lower acts as my emergency lower. Who know I might just buy a 300 AAC Blackout upper for it since they are going for cheap nowadays...

Anyone sell them in Los Angeles? I don't feel like trekking all the way to Rifle Gear.

FYI, Enterprise Arms has these on sale for $90. They're in Irwindale off the 210/605. Alittle closer for U than Riflegear. www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=698552

That is more convenient, thanks. Not to mention, Rifle Gear seems to be out of everything.
